Press to adjust the display brightness. The bright- ness changes in this order:

Press to display the screen for various settings.

Hold down to fast-reverse or fast-forward during playback.

When the memory playback is set, press these but- tons to confirm the program in memory.

Press to change the settings for memory playback, random playback, and 1-group playback modes.

Press to set the repeat playback or 1-repeat playback mode.

OPEN/CLOSE button (17)

Press to open and close the disc tray.

SEARCH button (20)

For MP3 CDs, the button is used to search and select a track (file) number or a group (folder) num- ber.

ENTER button

Press to set a selected preference.
