The projector cannot be found (it’s either out of range or turned off), which generates an alert message.

The projector is found but is in use, which generates an alert message.

Scan Button

The Scan button searches for LiteShow-enabled projectors and is active unless you are currently projecting. Once clicked, the Scan button opens an alert message that lets you know that current network activities will be disrupted while the scanning process occurs. It is best to close all network related files before continuing. After that, a progress bar fills during the scan and closes upon completion.

If more LiteShow-enabled projectors are found, they appear in the list window. If no more LiteShow-enabled projec- tors are found, then you are told that no more LiteShow-enabled projectors were found.

Note: If the Scan button is disabled, consult the OID FAQ on page 22.

Settings Button

The Settings button is enabled when an available projector, or the projector that you are currently using, is selected. Clicking it opens the Settings window box. The Settings window box, discussed on page 15, contains the Settings tab and the Diagnostics tab.
