The UCC28060 control device has phase management capability to improve light load efficiency. To demonstrate the light load efficiency, the unit efficiency was measured with phase management enabled and disabled at 115 VRMS and 230 VRMS input voltages. Phase management improved the light load efficiency up to 3%. Refer to the UCC28060 data sheet for details on how to use the phase management function of this device.
