Additionally, the operating system's audio device must be configured as AIC12K/14K EVM (see Figure 4).

The External Audio Interface Configuration only allows I2C communication between the host computer and the TLV320AIC12K/14K. In this configuration, the TLV320AIC12K/14K can transmit and receive audio data to/from an external PCM device or DSP. SW2 on the USB-MODEVM must be configured as shown in the right section of Figure 3.
