HDD S.M.A.R.T. Capability

This feature allows your hard disk to report read/write errors and to issue warnings when third- party hardware monitor utility is installed.

Enable HDD S.M.A.R.T. capability.

Disabled

Disable HDD S.M.A.R.T. capability. (Default value)

Away Mode

Disabled

Disable this function. (Default value)

Enabled

Enable Away Mode in Windows XP Media Center operating system.

 

(Away Mode: Enables the system to silently perform unattended tasks

 

while in a low-power mode that appears off. )

Init Display First

This feature allows you to select the first initiation of the monitor display from which card when you install a PCI card and a PCI Express VGA card on the motherboard.

PCI Slot

Set Init Display First to PCI VGA card.

Onboard VGA

Set Init Display First to onboard VGA.

PEG

Set Init Display First to PCI Express VGA card. (Default value)

Frame Buffer Size

16M

Set on-chip frame buffer size to 16 MB.

32M

Set on-chip frame buffer size to 32 MB.

64M

Set on-chip frame buffer size to 64 MB. (Default value)

128M

Set on-chip frame buffer size to 128 MB.

256M

Set on-chip frame buffer size to 256 MB.

Disabled

Disable this function.

Onboard GPU

This item allows the user to decide when to activate the onboard VGA function.

Enable If No Ext PEG

Activate the onboard VGA first only when no PCI Express VGA card is installed. (Default value)

Always Enable

Always activate the onboard VGA first, whether or not a PCI Express card is installed. If you wish to set up a dual view configuration, set this item to Always Enable.
