Password Settings
Use this menu to restrict access based on a password. (Default: smcadmin). For security reasons, you should change the default password before exposing the SMC2870W to the Internet.

Enter a maximum Idle Time Out (in minutes) to define a maximum period of time for which the login session is maintained during inactivity. If the connection is inactive for longer than the maximum idle time, it will be logged out, and you have to log in to the web management system again. (Default: 5 minutes)
