10. Maintenance

FNS-5000B is specially designed to run 24x7 and be ready at all times against system crash caused by power outage. This section provides a general overview on system maintenance.

10.1.Restart/ Shut down Server

Follow the steps below to restart or shut down FNS-5000B.

1.Enter the administration page and select Restart/ Shutdown in System Tools.

2.Click Restart to reboot the server or Shut Down to turn off the server.

10.2.Reset Password and Network Settings

To reset the administrator password and network settings of FNS-5000B,

Press the reset button of FNS-5000B for a few seconds. A beep sound will be heard. Login FNS-5000B with the default user name and password:

Default user name: administrator

Password: admin

Note: To reset the system by the reset button, the option “Enable configuration reset switch” in Hardware Settings must be activated.
