Appendix E Mounting Templates

The Fast EtheRx dual-speed hubs can be stationed on a at surface using the four rubber feet provided, or mounted in a standard 19” rack by using the mounting brackets and 4 thumb screws provided with the unit.

Rubber Feet for Desktops

The Fast EtheRx dual-speed hubs come with rubber feet that may be applied to the bottom of the unit for desktop surface installations. The 4 rubber feet have peel- off adhesive backing. Remove the backing and attach the feet to the bottom of the switch.

Brackets for Rack Mounting

The Fast EtheRx dual-speed hubs can also be mounted in a standard 19” rack using the brackets included with the unit. A rack mount installation uses a standard 19” dimension. Align the holes in the brackets with the holes on each side of the unit. Use the 8 screws provided to secure the brackets to the Fast EtheRx dual-speed hub. See Figure E-1 below:
