Chapter 5 Acting as an Access Point

The Vigor550 Wireless 11g USB Adapter can function as a simple Access Point (AP), and act as the center point of a wireless network supporting a data rate of up to 11 Mbps. It can also connect these wireless devices to wired network through the LAN interface.

Radio ON indicates to connect the network. If you want to disconnect the network, then click Radio OFF.

1.Go to the wireless configuration icon in Windows System Tray, press the right key, an option list pops up and click AP Utility.

2.In AP information tab, all information related to the Current Network is listed. The Connect Station List allows you to grant/deny access to/from specified wireless stations.
