USING THE TUNER

Press TUNER/BAND to use the sys- tem’s tuner.

Note: When you select TUNER/ BAND, the system automatically tunes to the last selected station.

You can tune to AM or FM radio stations using manual, seek, or memory tuning.

MANUAL TUNING

1.Press TUNER/BAND to select AM or FM. AM or FM appears on the display.

If you selected FM:

Press MONO/STEREO on the system to select stereo sound. STEREO appears when you receive an FM broadcast in stereo.

2.Repeatedly press SKIP/TUNING Ÿ or on the system (or SKIP/

TUNING Up or Down on the remote control) to tune up or down.

AUTOMATIC SEEK TUNING

1.Press TUNER/BAND to select AM or FM. AM or FM appears on the display.

2.Press and hold SKIP/TUNING Ÿ or on the system (or SKIP/

TUNING Up or Down on the remote control) for more than 1 second. The system automatically searches and stops when it finds the next strong station.

3.Repeat Step 2 to find the next strong station.

If FM reception is weak, press

MONO/STEREO again to select monaural. The sound is no longer in stereo, but recep- tion should improve.
