Managing the ES1A

4.Click the User Permissions link. The User Permissions page appears containing a list of permissions and dropdown lists. For each item on the list select the level of permission to be granted to the user. (See the online help for more information on these choices.)

Managing Serial Ports and Connections

The Management section of the Web Configuration and Management Interface provides information about the current operational state of the ES1A.

Serial Ports

The Serial Port Management page displays information on: Port number, Description, Profile and Connections. If you click Connections the Port Connections Management page appears displaying information on where the port is Connected From, Connected To, the Protocol (or profile) being used and the number of Sessions. This information can be Refreshed and, if the Action box is selected the Disconnect button become available allowing you to disconnect.

Connections

The Connections Management page displays network connections information including Connected From, Connected To, the Protocol in use and the number of Sessions.
