Installing the Software and Drivers on a Windows Computer

The Sprint Mobile Broadband USB Modem is supported on:

⬤Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or later
⬤Windows 2000
To install and run the device and accompanying Sprint SmartView software on a Windows computer, you will need an available USB port.
Installing the Software
The Sprint SmartView software for this Mobile Broadband Modem automatically installs once the device is inserted into the computer.
Your device is designed for quick and effortless installation and configuration. No CD is required for installation. Simply insert the device, allow the

| Note |
| All Windows users may be required to log on |

| Vista: You will be prompted to allow the software |
|
| |

| installation to begin. Click Allow and continue. |
|

| 2000: You may be required to run the automatic |
|
| |
|
|
| installation from the My Computer window. Open |
|
| |
|
|
| My Computer and click Sprint SmartView. |
|

1.Insert the device into your computer’s USB port.
2.Once the drivers have automatically installed, a Welcome window appears. Click Continue.
3.Once the InstallShield wizard launches, click Next.
