If you prefer to minimize the Full Mode view of Watcher, you can still monitor your connections with the System Tray Icon.

system tray: a section of the task bar in Windows which displays the clock and icons of certain programs. Sometimes referred to as the notification or status area.

System Tray Icon

Watcher launches in Full Mode view by default. Once the program launches, an icon appears simultaneously in the system tray on your desktop. This icon changes colors according to the current status of your connection. By moving the mouse pointer over the icon, ToolTips appear explaining the current status of Watcher. Once you exit Watcher, the system tray icon disappears.

ToolTip: Pop-up text box that displays information about a particular application. These text boxes may be viewed when the mouse pointer is placed on the particular icon.
