Background defocus mode

Use your camera's blurred background effect to make your subjects look sharper and more vivid in comparison to their background. In Background defocus mode, the camera takes two shots, identifies the background and then blurs it while keeping the subject sharp and in focus. It's just like shooting with a digital SLR camera. You can select from three different blur variations and tune the blur level in the preview display.

Face in

You can use the Face in mode to turn on the front and main cameras at the same time, so you can take a photo of yourself together with the subject.

Multi camera mode

Multi camera mode lets you take a photo from multiple angles by connecting your Xperia™ device with other Xperia™ devices and with Sony cameras that support Wi- Fi® or NFC. When your Xperia™ device is connected to one to three such devices, the image through the viewfinder of each device appears in your viewfinder at the same time.

SGP521 specifications

The Sony SGP521, more commonly known as the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, is a notable entry in the realm of tablets, representing a blend of cutting-edge technology, sleek design, and impressive functionality. Launched in early 2013, it quickly gained attention for its appealing balance of performance and portability.

One of the standout features of the Xperia Tablet Z is its ultra-slim profile. With a thickness of just 6.9 mm, it was one of the thinnest tablets on the market when it was released. Weighing only 495 grams, it is lightweight and easily portable, making it a convenient option for users who are always on the go. This sleek design is complemented by a glass front and back, giving it a premium feel that aligns with the high standards of the Sony brand.

The display of the Xperia Tablet Z is equally impressive, boasting a 10.1-inch Full HD TFT screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The TRILUMINOS technology enhances color reproduction, while the X-Reality engine offers upscaled images, ensuring that videos and images appear crisp and vibrant. This makes it an excellent choice for media consumption, gaming, and web browsing.

Performance-wise, the Sony SGP521 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, featuring a quad-core CPU that can handle multitasking with ease. Coupled with 2 GB of RAM, it provides a smooth user experience, whether running demanding applications or switching between tasks.

In terms of connectivity, the Xperia Tablet Z supports various options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC (Near Field Communication), allowing for easy pairing with other devices and sharing data seamlessly. The device also boasts a 6000 mAh battery, ensuring sufficient power for long periods of use.

The Xperia Tablet Z is not just about hardware; it also features an 8.1-megapixel rear camera, complemented by a 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and selfies. The rear camera is capable of capturing high-quality images and videos, making it a versatile tool for photography enthusiasts.

Finally, another key characteristic of the Sony SGP521 is its durability. The tablet is IP55 and IP57 certified, making it resistant to dust and water. This resilience allows users to use the device in a variety of environments without concern.

In sum, the Sony SGP521 combines a stunning display, powerful performance, and an elegant design all while offering features tailored for modern users. Its innovative technologies and robust characteristics make it a viable choice in the competitive tablet market.
