It is beyond the scope of the driver manual to desc

 

ribe the full functionality of the Simplex

Panels. However, we have found it useful to provide

the following data to customers. The

followinginformationisnotmaintainedandupdated

 

thereforeyoushoulduseitforreference

onlyandshouldalwaysconsultwiththevendorofy

 

ourSimplexsystembeforeimplementing

anyprojectdecisionsoractionsbasedontheinfor

mationprovidedinthissection.

Pseudopointsarepointsthatreportstatesorattr

ibutesbasedonhowtheSimplexsystemhas

beeninstalled,configuredandprogrammed. Theyar

eoftenprogrammedtogroups,devices,

zonesorotherlogicgroupings. Forexample,apse

 

udopointmaybeprogrammedtoreportif

andonlyifmorethanonesensorinaparticularar

 

eaisreportingsmoke.

EverySimplexsystemhasanumberofdefaultpseudo

pointsprogrammedintothefirmware

suppliedwiththepanel.Thesedefaultpointsdepen

 

donlyonthefirmwarerevisionnumberand

aregenerallyunaffectedbytheconfigurationprogr

ammedforaparticularsite.

Althoughthe4100cardnumbercanrangefrom0250

 

intheory,onlythefollowingrangesare
