Appendix B.1. Connection Tips & Hints

The Panel must be configured to send ‘Extended’ Messages. This is not the default state. The following procedure is used to achieve this setting.

1)Hit Menu/Exit

2)Use arrow keys to go to Tech Menu

4)Hit Enter (at this point the panel makes a beeping noise)

The driver makes some of its operating statistics available in a Data Array where they can be read by an upstream device. The lines from the example below can be cut and pasted into a configuration file.
