Before installing the SpeedStream® USB 10/100 Ethernet Adapter, ensure that your PC is equipped with the following. Note that the adapter is not installable on Macintosh computers.

•Microsoft® Windows® 98 Retail, Windows® 98 SE (Second Edition), Windows® 2000, or Windows® Me (Millennium Edition)

•32 MB RAM

•Available USB Port

Step 1 Connect the USB Cable to the computer

Connect the USB cable to the USB port on your computer

Step 2 Connect the Ethernet Cable

Using an RJ-45 cable (not included), connect the Ethernet port of the adapter to an Ethernet modem, bridge, router, switch or hub.
