CONFIGURING YOUR CONNECTION

If it is the first time you connect the computer to an Ethernet, please follow the steps below to configure your connection:

1.Click on [Start menu][Settings][Control panel] to visualize Control Panel.

2.Double click on [Network Connections] icon in the Control panel window. A window appears.

3.Double click on [Local Area Connection]. A Local Area Connection Properties window will open.

4. Click on the [General] option and follow the guidelines in Windows XP® user’s manual to complete the TCP/IP configuration.
