6Align the notches on the bottom of the card with the notches on the connector.

7Push the memory card firmly into the connector until the latches on either end of the connector snap into place.

It may require some force to fully seat the card.

8Make sure each latch fits over the notch on each end of the card.

9Close the side cover.

10Close the rear exit.

11Close the front cover.

12To update your printer options, follow these instructions:

aFor Windows XP, click StartControl PanelPrinters and Other HardwarePrinters and Faxes.

For all others, click StartSettingsPrinters.

bRight-click the Dell Laser Printer 1710 icon, and then select Properties.

cOn the Install Options tab, increase the amount of memory in the Printer Memory (MB) box.

dClick OK.
