Care should be taken to ensure that the chosen fixing point is strong enough to support the SM52T. Care should also be taken to ensure that the SM52T is not exposed to direct precipitation. A 58"-27 threaded hole is provided on the C-bracket to allow the SM52T series speaker to be mounted on any Atlas Sound microphone stand for near-field live sound applications. 238" OC brass inserts are also provided on the rear of the SM52T to accommodate OMNIMOUNT™ 25 series brackets.

All inserts for mounting knobs are standard 14"-20 to allow easy substi- tution of off-the-shlelf vandal-proof torx head or "one-way" hardware. Input connectors include a two pole barrier strip with wire capture "caps" capable of accepting up to (2) #14AWG cable. .94, 1.9, 3.7, 7.5, 15, and 30 watt taps are screwdriver selectable via a sealed switch located near the input section on the rear of the cabinet.

A tongue-in-groove cover with rubber wire exit grommet is provided to protect the input connections and transformer switch assembly from moisture. Systems are available in black or white and can be painted to accommodate any architectural considerations.

SM52T-B, SM52T-W specifications

The Atlas Sound SM52T-B and SM52T-W are two exceptional microphone options designed to deliver high-quality audio performance while prioritizing durability and user convenience. These microphones stand out in the crowded market of audio recording and live sound equipment, making them ideal for a variety of applications, from professional studio recordings to live performances.

One of the primary features of the SM52T series is its high-quality dynamic capsule design, which is engineered to capture audio with remarkable clarity and accuracy. The dynamic nature of these microphones allows them to handle high sound pressure levels, making them perfect for loud environments such as concerts, public speaking events, and broadcasting. This resilience ensures that the microphones can perform reliably under various conditions without compromising sound quality.

The SM52T-B features a sleek, all-black finish, while the SM52T-W offers a clean, white aesthetic, providing options for users based on their specific stylistic preferences. The design of these microphones is not only visually appealing but also practical, with a robust construction that is built to withstand the rigors of frequent use. This ruggedness makes them suitable for both touring and everyday studio settings.

A notable technology incorporated in the SM52T series is its tailored frequency response, specifically tuned for vocal applications. This frequency response helps in accentuating vocal presence while controlling unwanted noise and feedback, making these microphones particularly effective for singers and speakers. Additionally, the cardioid polar pattern effectively isolates sound sources, reducing the pickup of background noise and allowing for focused audio capture.

Another significant characteristic of the SM52T-B and SM52T-W is their lightweight design. This feature is often overlooked, but it enhances usability, especially during long recording sessions or performances. With its ease of handling, users will appreciate the comfort provided by these microphones, making them an excellent choice for extended use.

In conclusion, the Atlas Sound SM52T-B and SM52T-W microphones are remarkable tools that embody a blend of durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. With their high-quality dynamic capsules, tailored frequency response, and lightweight design, these microphones are versatile options for anyone seeking superior audio capture in both live and studio environments. The choice between black and white finishes also allows for personalization, ensuring that every user can find the perfect match for their audio needs and stylistic preferences.
