Word selection list

If the word being read does not match any word in the dictionary, the application will search for similar words and display alternatives in a Word selection list.

The most probable word is presented at the top of the list with the others in descending order of probability. A maxi- mum of ten words will be displayed. Select a word to see the translation/definition.

The reason why a word cannot be found may be that the word is misspelled or that the OCR has given an erroneous result. Another reason can be that the word is inflected (e.g. chairs instead of chair).

Word selection list

A Word selection list will be displayed if more than one word is found with the same spelling as the word being read, but with different meanings.

To cancel the word/text scanned and go back to the C Dic- tionary main screen, press Trigg briefly.

You can start to read a new word without closing the list. Close the Word selection list by selecting Cancel or by pressing the ESC button.

Word selection screen

If more than three words are read the Word selection screen appears. Turn Nav to select a word.
