Congratulations on your choice of a Victor electronic calculator. This operating manual describes the features and operation of the Victor 1460-4 electronic calculator. This calculator features the four basic arithmetic operations, two independent tax keys, percentage and percentage-of- change, change sign, sigma, item count, non-add/date functions, backspace, and cost, sell, margin keys.

Preparation

BEFORE USING THE PRINTER FOR THE FIRST TIME:

Remove the tape holding the ink ribbon in place.

Before Beginning Calculation

1.Plug in AC power

2.Be sure that the paper roll and ribbon have bee installed properly.

3.Turn power switch on, and make sure that the display lights. A “C” will automatically be printed on the paper tape.

4.Set decimal point selector switch at the desired position.

NOTE: Please remove the piece of tape holding the printer ribbon in place for transportation.
