Architectural Specifications

The loudspeaker shall consist of a 130

mm(5.25 in) low-frequency transducer and a 25 mm (1.0 in) high-frequency trans- ducer with a frequency-dividing network installed in an infinite baffle sealed enclo- sure (Bessel alignment). The low-frequency voice coil diameter shall be 25 mm (1.0 in).

Performance specifications of a typical production unit shall be as follows: Usable frequency response shall extend from

65 Hz – 20 kHz. The loudspeaker shall be available in separate low-impedance and high-impedance models. The RS55i-T32 unit shall be equipped with a transformer for use in either 70.7 Volt or 100 Volt distrib- uted-line sound systems with taps select- able via a rotary switch. Taps shall be nominally 4 W @ 70.7 V (8 W @ 100 V), 8 W @ 70.7 V (16 W @ 100 V), 16 W @ 70.7 V (32 W @ 100 V), 32 W @ 70.7 V (tap position not used @ 100 V). The frequency-dividing network shall have a crossover frequency of 3.1 kHz. Rated power capacity of the

RS55i specifications

The Phase Technology RS55i is a cutting-edge loudspeaker that stands out in the realm of high-quality audio systems. This speaker is designed for both audiophiles and casual listeners, making it a versatile addition to any home entertainment setup. One of the most notable features of the RS55i is its exceptional sound performance, characterized by a smooth frequency response that delivers clear highs, rich mids, and deep lows.

This full-range speaker employs advanced technology to optimize sound quality. It incorporates a custom-engineered 5.25-inch woofer, which is designed to handle a wide range of frequencies while minimizing distortion. The woofer's design ensures precise bass reproduction, allowing music and soundtracks to come alive with depth and clarity. Complementing the woofer is a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, which provides a smooth and articulate high-frequency response. This combination allows the RS55i to produce a balanced sound profile that fits various musical genres and audio content.

The RS55i also features a unique rear-firing bass port. This design not only enhances low-frequency extension but also provides greater flexibility in speaker placement within a room. By allowing low-frequency waves to radiate from the rear of the speaker, users can place the RS55i closer to walls without compromising on sound quality.

In terms of build quality, the RS55i is robust yet aesthetically pleasing. Its sleek design, available in multiple finishes, allows it to seamlessly blend into any home decor. The enclosure is engineered using high-density MDF (medium-density fiberboard), which minimizes resonance and enhances overall sound clarity.

For those interested in multi-room or surround sound setups, the RS55i can easily integrate with other Phase Technology products. Its compatibility with various audio systems makes it an ideal choice for creating an immersive listening experience. Furthermore, the speaker is designed to withstand the rigors of everyday use, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Overall, the Phase Technology RS55i combines innovative technologies, quality craftsmanship, and aesthetic appeal, making it a top-tier choice for anyone seeking superior audio performance in their home speaker system. Whether you're a dedicated audiophile or simply enjoy high-quality sound, the RS55i delivers an experience that is both enjoyable and engaging.
