FEATURES

The PureAV comes with three Diagnostic Indicators, plus an Amber Master Switch light. When you plug the unit into a live, 120V AC/60Hz outlet, these lights let you know that protection is activated and warn of a power problem before you connect your equipment.

Protection (Yellow) indicates your surge protection is functioning properly.

Line OK (Green) indicates line integrity.

Line Fault (Red) indicates wall outlet in use has existing ground fault, or is improperly wired.

Protection (Yellow): This light should come on when the unit’s power switch is turned to the “ON” position. If this light goes out at any time, it means that your surge protector has “sacrificed itself” to protect your equipment and should be replaced. Please contact Belkin Components for a free surge protector replacement.

Line OK (Green): This light should also come on when the power switch is turned on. It shows that 120V AC power is present with no wiring faults and it is safe to plug and use connected equipment.

Line Fault (Red): If on, this light indicates that a wiring fault has been detected. This may be the result of a lack of grounding or reversed phases, among other problems. A qualified electrician should be notified so that the problem can be corrected before plugging in devices.

Master (Amber): This on/off switch provides a built-in, automatic shutdown,

15-Amp circuit breaker. The light should come on when the unit is plugged into a 120V AC/60Hz outlet and switched to the “ON” position. Important: If the current draw exceeds 15 Amps for an elongated period of time, the circuit breaker will shut down surge protector power to prevent damage. Allow a brief time for the PureAV to cool before resetting the circuit breaker switch. (To reset, simply press the switch.)

Power Filter Technology (PFT): As mentioned earlier, this design prevents devices that are plugged into a given receptacle bank from transferring contamination to a device plugged into another receptacle bank. Each pair of receptacle banks is isolated from the other pairs within the PureAV. (The 10-outlet PureAV has five pairs of PFT receptacle banks.)

The PureAV Isolator provides increasing levels of protection and filtration from surges, spikes, lightning strikes, and EMI/RFI. When AC power travels from the wall outlet and throughout each successive pair of receptacle banks, each power filter or “graduating filtration” level increases the isolation, filtration, and

F9G1033-12 specifications

The Belkin F9G1033-12 is a notable product in the realm of networking equipment, particularly tailored for enhancing home and office connectivity. As internet demands grow, devices like the F9G1033-12 become essential for maintaining efficient and stable connections.

At the core of the F9G1033-12 is its dual-band technology, which operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. This feature allows users to optimize their internet experience by connecting devices to the less crowded 5 GHz band for activities that require high bandwidth, such as video streaming, online gaming, or video conferencing. Conversely, the 2.4 GHz band remains available for devices that are further away from the router, ensuring a wider range without sacrificing speed.

Equipped with 12 AC outlets, the F9G1033-12 is not just a networking device but also serves as a power management solution. This is particularly useful in environments where multiple devices require power, such as home theaters or gaming setups. With both surge protection and power filtration, users can rest assured their devices are safeguarded against power fluctuations and spikes.

The F9G1033-12 also showcases advanced networking protocols, including QoS (Quality of Service) management. This technology prioritizes bandwidth allocation to devices that require a more stable connection, thus improving overall performance during peak usage times. Whether streaming a high-definition movie or participating in an online meeting, the user experience is smooth and uninterrupted.

Moreover, its compatibility with various smart home devices is a significant advantage. Users can easily connect their smart TVs, speakers, and other IoT devices without hassle. The Belkin app further enhances this experience by providing users with control over their network settings and easy access to troubleshooting resources.

In conclusion, the Belkin F9G1033-12 stands out for its dual-band capabilities, extensive AC outlet provision, and various user-friendly features designed for optimal performance. With its focus on security, durability, and versatile connectivity, it is a distinguished choice for consumers seeking reliable networking solutions in an increasingly connected world.
