The LAN Interface settings allow you to configure the parameters for local area network.

Parameter

Description

IP Address

This is the router’s local port IP address (Your LAN

 

clients default gateway IP address). The default IP

 

Address is ‘192.168.2.1’.

Subnet Mask

Specify a Subnet Mask for your LAN segment. The

 

default subnet mask is ‘255.255.255.0’.

In this section you have to select one of the five types of connections based on the service package provided by your ISP.
