Manually Entering the Sleep Mode

You can manually put the computer into sleep or standby mode to conserve energy.

To Manually Enter Sleep Mode

1.Close all programs and save any open files.

2.Click Start on the Windows taskbar

3.Click the Control Panel.

4.Click Performance and Maintenance.

5.Click Power Options.

6.On the Advanced tab, under When I press the power button on my computer, click Standby.

7.Click OK or Apply, and then turn off the power.

Awaking From Sleep

You must wake the computer to use it again.You can wake the computer by:

Pressing any key on the keyboard

Moving your mouse
