5 Upgrading your computer

Replacing the Veriton 6800/7800's hard disk

Follow these steps to replace your computer's hard disk:

1Remove the side panel.

2Detach the power and hard disk cables from the hard disk(a). Detach the hard disk from the drive frame (b).

3Insert the new hard disk into the frame (a).

Connect the power and hard disk cables to the new hard disk (b).

Note: Make sure that the other ends of the disk cables are securely connected to their corresponding connectors on the mainboard.

4Replace the side panel. See "To replace the side panel" on page 53.
