Using Memory Stick® Media
This new compact, portable, and versatile recording medium has a data capacity exceeding that of a floppy disk. The media is specially designed for exchanging and sharing digital data with compatible products. Because it is removable, the media can be used for external data storage.
✍The VAIO Z505 SuperSlim notebooks are not compatible with MagicGate™ Memory Stick media.
You can enjoy video clips that you have recorded with Memory
The media slot can accommodate one media at a time.
To copy images from a digital video camera via Memory Stick media, see “Connecting an i.LINK® device” on page 55.

To insert a Memory Stick media
Insert the media into the slot until the media is fixed into the connector.
Insert with the arrow facing forward.

When the media is connected properly, you can see the contents by clicking the Removable Disk (S:) icon.
