Features of the CRW-F1UX Drive

CD-MRW (CD Mount Rainier ReWriting)

CD-MRW is a new standard of packet writing. Compared to the ordinary packet writing, CD-MRW provides many useful functions such as background formatting. (P. 37)

USB interface (USB 2.0)

The CRW-F1UX drive uses USB 2.0 that provides high-speed data transfer capability (max. 480 Mbps). The transfer speed is about 40 times faster than the USB 1.1.

In addition, the CRW-F1UX drive supports the hot plug function that enables you to connect/disconnect the drive while computer is turned on.
