1.Connecting a front system in stereo and a sub- woofer in mono bridge mode.

You can use all DLS coaxial, 2-way,

3-way systems and subwoofers in this example.

All speakers must be 4 ohm.

If the head unit has only one pre out a Y-cable must be used.

Use a 2 mm hexagon key to speaker terminals. Use a 2,5 mm hexagon key to DC input terminals on A1

Use a 4 mm hexagon key to DC input terminals on A2, A3, A4

 

DLS A4 is 1 ohm stable. This means that you can connect two 4

 

ohm subwoofers in parallel without damaging the amplifier. Two 4

 

ohm subwoofers connected in parallel results in a 2 ohm load which

the amplifier sees as a 1 ohm load.

If you have a 4 ohm sub with dual voice coils you can connect the

4 ohm

coils in parallel.
