VCD CONTROL display

There are two types of VCD CONTROL display. The display shown on the right is avairable only during Video CD playback.

When a Video CD disc is stopped, a display similar to the CD CONTROL display appears.

To bring up the VCD CONTROL display

Press ON SCREEN when a Video CD is inserted. The appropriate display appears according to the unit's status.

To prevent the monitor from burning out [SCREEN SAVER]

A television monitor screen may be burned out if a static picture is displayed for a long time. To prevent this, the unit automatically activates the screen saver function if a static picture, such as an on-screen display or menu, is displayed for over 5 minutes.

Pressing any button on the unit or the remote control unit will release the screen saver function and return to the previous display.

You can select one of several screen saver modes available (see page 47).

The screen saver function is not activated during Audio CD/MP3 disc playback or after stopping Audio CD/MP3 disc playback.
