Problems

On-screen displays appear

each time you adjust a function.

There's no sound even when the volume is turned

up.

Possible Solutions

This is part of the normal operation of the TV.

Check that the MUTE button isn't; on.

The TV's "Listen to:" setting may be set to "second audio program" (S.A.P.).

Check that "Speaker" function is set to "On."
