Remote Control Functions in TV Mode

MODE

Selects the remote operating mode: TV, VCR, Cable, DVD or Satellite.

Select other operating modes, for the remote to operate external devices.

TV INPUT

Switches TV mode or CATV mode.

TV/VIDEO

Selects: Antenna, Cable, Video1, Video2, Front video, Component

1-2 and HDMI/DVI input sources.

LIGHTS

Show active remote mode every time any button is pressed.

INDEX

Switches Index LED Display on or off.

COMP1

Selects the Component 1 input source.

MUTE

Switches the Mute or the EZ mute. Mute: The sound is off. EZ mute: Turns the sound off, and displays the caption.

EZ SOUND

Selects the sound appropriate for the program’s category.

RATIO

Changes the aspect ratio.

FREEZE

Captures and freezes the currently-viewed picture.

THUMBSTICK (UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT/ )

Allows you to navigate the on-screen menus and to adjust the system settings and prefer- ences, by moving to an option withF ED G and selecting the highlighted option with .

Brings up the main menu to the screen.
