4 Use your TV

Watching channels from an external device

1 Turn On a set-top box or the connected device.

The picture from your set-top box or the connected device might appear automatically on the TV screen.

If the picture does not appear

ECO

You can Turn On ECO mode to conserve power.

Press ECO once toTurn On ECO mode and reduce power consumption.

Press ECO again to Turn Off ECO mode.

Sets the backlight brighter.

 

Note

You must set Home in Location p.10

Otherwise, the settings you adjusted will not be saved when the unit goes into standby mode.

 

Press SOURCE repeatedly to select the set-top box or

 

the connected device and wait a few seconds till the

picture appears.

Use the remote control of the set-top box or the

 

connected device to select channels to view.

Changing picture and sound settings

You must set Home in Location (refer to page 10).

Otherwise, personalized picture and sound settings will not be memorized after the unit goes into Standby mode.

Other is displayed when the audio language cannot be acquired or the acquired languages are other than English, French or Spanish.

SAP / STEREO

Sleep timer

Sleep timer can set the unit to go into Standby mode after an incremental period of time.

Press SLEEP repeatedly to change the

amount of time (increases the time by 30 Sleep 120min. minutes up to 120 minutes).

Press SLEEP once to call up the display for checking the remaining time.

To cancel sleep timer, press SLEEP repeatedly until Sleep Off is displayed.

2 Use ▲▼ ◄► to select the item you want to adjust,
