Chapter 9: Using a USB Memory Disk to Install Files

Overview

Before you can use a USB memory disk, you will need to convert your Power Point presentation file. To convert your file, you must first install the converter software on your PC. If you already installed the Setup Wizard on your PC, then you already have Presentation Converter installed. After you convert your file, the Presentation Player will be able to accept the presentation from your USB disk.

Installation

When you use a memory disk device to install your presentation on the Presentation Player, you must first install the converter software on your PC.

1.Insert the Setup CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The CD’s Wizard should start automatically and the Welcome page for the Setup Utility will appear (as shown in Figure 9-1).

If it does not start automatically, click the Start button, select Run, and enter d:\setup.exe (where “d” is the letter of your CD-ROM drive) in the Open field to start the autorun program.

2.Click the Setup tab and the Wizard will begin the installation procedure. A screen like that shown in Figure 9-2 will appear.

Read the license agreement and click the Yes tab to accept the terms and continue the installation procedure. If you click No, you will end the installation procedure.
