9. RECEIVER OPTIONS

By selecting “Settings Menu” from the Menu Bar, or pressing OPTIONS on your remote control, you can access the Options Menu for your receiver. This section outlines available options. Note that PVR-specific settings will not be available on the HDDSR.

You can access all Options Menus quickly by entering the number onscreen using the numeric keypad on your remote control. For example, to access User Settings, press OPTIONS, 4, 1.

9A. “1. FAVORITE LISTS”

Favorite Lists allow you to customize which channels appear in your Guide. See page 19 for more information on setting Favorite Lists.

9B. “2. PARENTAL CONTROLS”

Parental Controls allow you to lock certain content from being viewed without a password. See page 16 to learn how to set Parental Controls.

9C. “3. PURCHASE HISTORY”

Purchase History lists your recent Instant PPV purchases, including whether they have been reported for billing or not. If Parental Controls are enabled, the parental password must be entered to access this menu.

9D. “4. SYSTEM SETTINGS”

System Settings allow you to change and view variety of options for your receiver, including display and clock settings, Skip Forward/Back durations, and current signal levels. From the System Settings menu, the following submenus are available:

All changes must be saved by selecting “Save” before leaving the menu.

Changes here are not saved by pressing GO BACK.
