CD/VCD BASIC OPERATION (CONTINUED)

PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK

The CD player in this unit has a 20 track programmable memory that allows you to program up to 20 tracks on any disc for playback in any desired order. You may program 20 different tracks or you may also program certain tracks to play more than once. Programmed Playback only works for CDs, it does not work on DVDs or MP3 CDs.

To perform programmed playback, proceed as follows:

While in the Stop mode, press the PROGRAM button, the Program menu will appear on the TV screen.

Repeat step 2 until all desired tracks have been programmed (up to 20). You can repeat a track more than once if desired.

Press the PLAY () button to begin programmed playback. Playback will begin on the first track that you programmed and the player will continue to play all of the tracks that you programmed in the order in which you programmed them.

Select the first track to be played back using the Number buttons . The unit will automatically go to the next track to allow you to program using the Number buttons. If selecting more then 10 programs, press the SKIP ( ) Button to access programs 11 to 20.

Press the STOP () button to stop programmed play.

TO CANCEL THE PROGRAM FUNCTION:

To cancel the Program function, press the STOP () button twice, or press the OPEN/CLOSE button.

PBC (VCD ONLY)

When playing a VCD with PBC function, you can enjoy simple interactive software on your TV.

Press the PBC button to activate the “PBC ON” mode. THE VCD MUST HAVE THIS FUNCTION.

Press the Skip ( ) button to go to the Track Selection Menu. THE VCD MUST HAVE THIS MENU.

Press the Number buttons to select the desired track to play. Press the RETURN button to return to the Track Selection Menu.

Follow the instructions supplied with the disc as the operating procedure may differ according to the VCD.
