Indicator Indicates the programming mode when programming the remote to control components. Lights when you press a valid button on the remote. Flickers when a button is pressed and the batteries are low.

(0-9) Number Buttons Enter channel numbers and time settings directly through the remote control.

To enter a one-digit channel, enter a zero first. To enter a two-digit channel, press the two digits and expect a few seconds delay. This is if you want to enter a third digit.

AGAIN In DVD mode, goes back approximately 10 seconds to see and hear missed content.

CCIn TV mode, toggles closed captioning on and off. In DVD mode, displays the Info Display with the Subtitle icon highlighted.

ANTENNA In VCR mode, functions as a TV/VCR button.

CH + or CH - In TV mode, scans up or down through the current channel list. Press once to change the channel up or down; press and hold to continue changing channels. In DVD mode, highlights the Chapter Info Display icon.

CLEAR Removes any menu or display from the screen and returns you to normal viewing.

DISC MENU In DVD mode, press while playing a DVD or Video disc and the discÕs menu system will appear.

DVD Puts the remote in DVD mode.

FORWARD In DVD mode, advances the disc forward.

GO BACK In TV mode, returns you to the previous channel. In DVD mode, returns you to previous screen.

GUIDE If youÕre operating another component that has a guide, this button accesses the on-screen Guide.

INFO In TV mode, brings up the channel banner. In DVD mode, displays the Info Display.

INPUT Toggles through the available input sources (VID1/SVID1, VID2, FRNT, and current channel).

MENU Brings up the TVÕs Main menu.

MUTE Reduces the TVÕs volume to its minimum level. Press again to restore the volume.

OK When in the menu system, selects highlighted items.

ON•OFF When in TV mode, turns the TV/DVD on and off. If in another mode (VCR) and programmed, will turn the component on and off.

OPEN•CLOSE Opens the disc tray if it is closed; closes the disc tray if it is open.

PAUSE In DVD mode, press PAUSE when the disc is playing to pause playback.

PLAY In DVD mode, plays the disc.
