Plug in the TV

Plug the end of the power cord into the back of the TV. Plug the other end into an outlet, inserting the plug completely. Do not plug the TV into an outlet controlled by a light switch.

Put Batteries in the Remote

¥Remove the battery compartment cover from the back of the remote control by pushing the tab and lifting off the cover.

¥Insert 2 AAA batteries, making sure the polarities (+ and -) are aligned correctly.

¥Replace the cover.

Turn on the TV

Turn on your TV by pressing the Power button ( ) on the side of the TV or the ON¥OFF or TV button on the remote control.

Using the Remote Control to Complete Initial

Setup

You will need to use the remote control to complete the setup of your TV. The remote control allows you to navigate through and select items that appear in the on-screen menus. The process works the same on all menu screens: highlight your choice and select it.

To select a menu item, press the arrows to highlight one of the items listed on the screen. Use the up or down arrow to move up or down. Use OK button or right arrow to view other selections for a menu choice or to display a sub-menu. To return to the previous menu, press the GO BACK key or left arrow.
