The battery is inserted in the wrong direction. A wrong battery is inserted.
aInsert a correct battery in the correct direction.
The battery is weak.
aReplace the battery with new one.
The aiming direction of the remote control unit is wrong.
aAim the remote control unit at the sensor of the unit and press buttons.
The sensor is exposed to direct sunlight. (The remote control unit may not be operable when the sensor is exposed to direct sunlight. In such a case, the system is not faulty.)
Note:
aEject the magazine. If the failure persists, press the reset switch on the CD changer. If normal operation is not restored, consult your dealer or the nearest Panasonic Servicenter to ask for repairs.
No disc is in the CD Changer (magazine).
aInsert discs into the changer (magazine).
The changer has become disconnected from the unit in the changer mode.
aVerify the wiring.

aEject the disc. If the disc is not ejected when you press [u] (eject), unplug the power cord and plug it again. In case the unit is still out of order, consult your dealer.
The disc is upside down.
The player for some reason cannot read the file you are trying to play. (File recorded in an unsupported file system, compression scheme, data format, file name extension, damaged data, etc.)
aEject the disc. Select a file that the player can read. Check the type of data recorded on the disc. Create a new disc if necessary.
■XM Satellite Radio Option

Cannot receive XM satellite radio.
aVerify the wiring.
XM antenna unconnected.
aConnect the XM antenna.
XM broadcasts unreceivable because of poor receiving conditions.
aMove to an area where XM broadcasts can be received well.
Channel not in service.
aThis channel is not currently in service. Tune to another channel.
