Troubleshooting
Before asking for repairs, check the symptoms with the following table.
Contact your dealer if a problem cannot be solved even after checking and trying the solution or if the problem is not described below.
Symptom
The connected removable hard disk drive is not recog- nized.
Cause/solution
•Is the removable hard disk drive connected correctly and firmly?
•Is the recommended interface cable used to connect between the PC and the removable hard disk drive? Contact your dealer about the interface cable to be used to connect the removable hard disk drive and the PC.
