The illustration below shows an example of connecting the STB to LINE-3 IN.In this case, set the STB CONNECTION setting to LINE-3 (see page 23).

You can watch programmes from the Set-Top Box connected to this VCR on your TV even when the VCR is turned off using the Line Through function. When you turn on the STB, this VCR automatically sends the signal from the STB to the TV without turning itself on.

Connect the STB to the LINE-3IN connector as shown above.

Set POWER SAVE to OFF in the OTHER OPTIONS menu.

Turn off the VCR.

To watch a programme from the STB, turn on the STB and the TV.

For details, see page 23.

Note

You cannot watch programmes from your STB on the TV while recording unless you record a programme from your STB.
