5Switching Each Mode

You can easily switch with the remote control to the DTV (ATSC) and TV (NTSC) or to access an external device when they are connected to the unit.

5Switching Audio Mode

This section describes how to switch the audio in the analog mode and how to switch the audio language in the digital mode.

1Press [INPUT] repeatedly to cycle through analog TV, digital TV, VIDEO1 and VIDEO2.

TV

While receiving an MTS broadcast, press [AUDIO] repeatedly to cycle through the available audio channel.

[ANALOG MODE]

[DIGITAL MODE]

[VIDEO1]

[VIDEO2]

To use the video or S-video input jack on the unit, select “VIDEO1”.

To use the component video input jack on the unit, select “VIDEO2”.

Note:

When you switch the analog mode to the digital mode, it may take a while until the digital channel selection is completed. The following TV screen is displayed while switching the mode.

• Available languages differ depending on the broadcast. “OTHER” is displayed when the audio language cannot be acquired, or the acquired languages are other than English, Spanish or French.

• The information display will automatically disappear in 10 seconds.

Note:

• Pressing [AUDIO] does not control external audio device.
