La fuente de audio de un disco del formato de sonido ambiental Dolby Digital de 5,1 canales no puede ser grabada como sonido digital por una platina MD o DAT.

Si se utiliza este televisor/DVD/VHS para reproducir fuentes del formato de sonido ambiental Dolby Digital de 5,1 canales o de sonido ambiental DTS, el televisor/DVD/VHS dará salida a un flujo de datos Dolby Digital o DTS desde su toma de salida de audio digital COAXIAL.
