AV-30W475 specifications

The JVC AV-30W475 is a versatile television that has made a notable mark in the consumer electronics market, particularly for those seeking a balance between quality and affordability in a CRT television. Renowned for its reliability, the AV-30W475 offers a range of features catering to diverse viewing needs, making it a popular choice for both casual viewers and dedicated enthusiasts.

One of the primary features of this model is its 30-inch screen, which provides a spacious viewing area that is ideal for larger rooms. The curvature of the screen enhances the immersive experience, allowing viewers to feel more engaged with their favorite shows and movies. The television employs a traditional CRT display technology, which has the advantage of better color depth and contrast ratios compared to some older LCD models.

The AV-30W475 boasts a resolution of 480i, delivering decent picture quality that is sufficient for standard definition content. This model also incorporates JVC’s proprietary Digital Clear View system, which enhances the clarity of images and reduces flicker, ensuring a smoother viewing experience. The built-in comb filter enhances image detail and minimizes cross-color artifacts, further elevating the picture quality.

Sound quality is another crucial aspect of the JVC AV-30W475. It features built-in 10-watt speakers that provide adequate audio output, ensuring dialogue and action scenes are conveyed with clarity. Additionally, the television includes various sound presets, allowing users to tailor the audio output based on personal preference and viewing content.

Connectivity options are plentiful as well, featuring multiple inputs such as composite, S-video, and coaxial connections. This allows users to connect a variety of devices, including DVD players, game consoles, and VCRs with ease. The inclusion of a built-in tuner also provides viewers with access to over-the-air broadcasting, ensuring they can enjoy a range of channels without needing additional equipment.

Overall, the JVC AV-30W475 is characterized by its solid performance, user-friendly features, and dependable build. While it may not compete with modern flat-panel televisions in terms of thickness and resolution, it offers a nostalgic experience for viewers who appreciate the CRT era while delivering satisfactory performance for everyday use.
