For your reference

FM Stereo

Press MONO/STEREO repeatedly on the front panel until “ST” appears in the display.

Weak FM stations

Press MONO/STEREO on the front panel until the “ST” word disappears from the display.

Background noise will be reduced but the signal repro- duced will be mono.

To restore stereo reception, press MONO/STEREO on the front to select STEREO.

To turn the radio off

Press POWER to turn the DVD+Hi-Fi VCR off or select another function mode (CD/DVD, VCR, LINE 1 or LINE 2).

Tuning Stations Automatically

Hold down 4 TUNING 3 on the front panel or hold down 1 and 2 on the remote control for 1 or 2 seconds, and the next station is searched for automati- cally.

The search may not tune in or stop at a station with a very weak signal.

Mute

Press MUTE to remove the sound.

You can mute your unit in order, for example, to answer the telephone, “MUTE” indicator flashes in the display.

Press MUTE again to restore sound.
