Using the EZX 80

Switching the headset on/off

Switching the headset on

Move the on/off switch to the position ON.

The LED flashes 3 times blue and you hear an ascending sequence of beeps. When the headset is paired but not yet connected to the mobile phone, the LED flashes 3 times blue every 5 seconds. Once the headset and the mobile phone are connected, the LED turns off and the voice prompt “connected” is announced in the headset.

If the headset is switched off and then on again within 10 seconds, there might be no voice prompt because the reset procedure is not completed.

Switching the headset off

If the headset has not been used for more than 1 hour, it automatically switches off to conserve battery power.

Move the on/off switch to the position OFF.

The LED flashes 3 times red. You hear a descending sequence of beeps.

Connection profiles and volume settings are saved automatically when the headset is switched off.
