Diversity and Dual Tuner Mode

In Diversity mode, the two integrated DTT/freeview tuners are set to the same frequency. EyeTV Diversity contains a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), which uses information from both tuners to generate the best signal possible. The result of this Antenna Diversity and multi-tuner technology is superb reception deep indoors, in weak DTT coverage areas, and at high speeds.

Even if you live in an area with strong DTT reception, EyeTV Diversity is an attractive choice. In Dual-Tuner mode, EyeTV Diversity becomes two conventional DTT receivers in one. You can watch two live TV channels Picture-in-Picture, or watch one show while you record another. Dual-Tuner mode requires that two separate antennas/aerials are connected. If only one aerial is connected, then only one tuner will be active.

You can switch between Dual Tuner and Diversity model in the EyeTV Diversity section of the Devices Preferences for EyeTV (accessible from the EyeTV menu > Preferences > Devices).

Auch wenn Ihr Wohnort mit ausreichender Signalstärke versorgt ist, ist EyeTV Diversity eine gute Wahl. Im Betriebs- modus Dual-Tuner arbeitet EyeTV Diversity wie zwei separate DVB-T-Receiver. Entsprechend können Sie zwei Kanäle gleich- zeitig im Bild-in-Bild-Modus sehen oder ein Programm verfol- gen während Sie ein anderes aufzeichnen. Der Betriebsmodus Dual-Tuner setzt voraus, dass beide Antenneneingänge mit einem Signal gespeist werden. Wird nur ein Tuner versorgt, können Sie nur ein Programm zur Zeit empfangen.

Sie schalten zwischen den Modi Diversity und Dual Tuner um, indem Sie im Reiter Geräte der EyeTV-Einstellungen “EyeTV Diversity” auswählen und dann die gewünschte Betriebsart aktivieren. Das Menü Einstellungen ﬁnden Sie unter EyeTV > Einstellungen.

C’est le seul produit EyeTV vous permettant de regarder deux chaînes en même temps avec Image-sur-Image, ou de regarder une chaîne pendant que vous en enregistrer une autre. Le mode Dual-Tuner est activée uniquement si deux antennes séparées sont connetées. Si une seule antenne est connectée, seul un tuner sera actif.
