Playing a disc

View Chapter

Display a previously masked chapter.This function is only available if you have previously masked a chapter by having selected Play Full Title and having masked a selected chapter. Or if you have selected Hide Chapter during the playing of a title, but on condition that the chapter bookmark had not already passed or been created.

New title image (DVD+RW only)

This function allows you to select an image that is representative of your recording (the title).This image is then displayed in the Player menu (see page 55).When the image is selected, the device pauses and the image is recorded and placed in “play memory”.

If you wish to cut a title into two parts, while playing the title, select Split Title and confirm your choice with the OK button while viewing the images at the end of the first part.

Note: reorganising titles may take several minutes as it depends on the number of titles present on the disc. This function is very practical after you copy your cassettes to disc as it will enable you to extract sequences to make up independent titles for which you may change the name.
