To play back a disc in VR format

3Press SETUP to close the setup menu.

4Press PLAY (B) to begin to play back the setting you selected.

Previewing VR format

5During playback, press SCAN.

A list appears on the TV screen.

SELECT DIGEST TYPE:

TITLE DIGEST

TITLE INTERVAL

Thumbnail pictures appear on the TV screen.

6Press 3 /4 to highlight either [TITLE DIGEST] or [TITLE INTERVAL].

TITLE DIGEST

This function displays thumbnail pictures of titles on the screen. Up to six thumbnail pictures per page are displayed.

In ORIGINAL LIST mode, the originally recorded titles on the disc are displayed.

In PLAY LIST mode, every title in the play list is displayed.

TITLE INTERVAL

This function is used to divide and display the contents of each title being played back in regular intervals, making it easy to preview the recording. Up to six thumbnail pictures per page are displayed.

If the title being played back is short, the TITLE DIGEST function is performed instead.

7Press ENTER/OK to confirm the selection.

8Use 1 / 2/3 / 4 to select a title or use the numeric buttons (0-9)to input the title number.

Press S / T to access the previous/next page.

9Press ENTER/OK to confirm the selection.

To quit the preview function

Use 1 / 2/3 / 4 to highlight [EXIT] and press ENTER/OK.

To return to the preview menu

Use 1 / 2/3 /4 to highlight [MENU] and press ENTER/OK.

TIPS: To return to the previous menu, press 1.

To exit from the menu, press SETUP.
